Constitution Hall houses first-year students in double and single rooms, with co-educational floors. There are two large lounges in each section for students to gather, as well as an outdoor recreational space with a basketball court. .

Davidson Commons houses returning 蘑菇TV下载students in four- and six-person suite-style rooms. This complex, comprised of Davidson, Klein, and Saylor Halls, has study lounges, a large pavilion for studying and events, one kitchen per floor, and indoor bike storage. Each suite also has its own bathroom.

Ernsthausen Hall, 84 Tressel Street

Ernsthausen Hall houses students in co-educational double and single rooms. Ernsthausen has a large lounge upon entering the building, which is perfect for students to gather. There are 9 small lounges throughout the building, as well as a large kitchen area on the 2nd floor. Ernsthausen is also home to our fraternity and sorority community.

Findley Hall, 265 Beech Street

Findley Hall houses students in double and single rooms, with co-educational floors. The main lounge is a favorite gathering place for students. Findley also features a large multipurpose room and kitchen with ping-pong and ample space for studying. Findley has been a favorite among many of our student-athletes.

Front Street Residence Hall, 110 Front St.

Front Street Residence Hall, perched above downtown Berea, houses students in single- and double-room suites, each with a private restroom. Each floor consists of a large kitchen and lounge as well as a laundry room. There are two small study rooms in the building as well.

Heritage Hall, 114 Tressel Street

Heritage Hall houses first-year students in double, single, and triple rooms, all co-educational by floor. Heritage is BW’s largest residence hall, with over 10 lounges, making it ideal for students to make connections.

Lang Hall, 253 Beech Street

Lang Hall houses students in double, single, and triple rooms, all co-educational by floor. There are lounges on the first and fourth floors, along with a kitchen on the first floor. Lang also has easy access to the basketball and sand volleyball courts on the North Quad.

Carmel Living Learning Center, 135 E. Tressel Street

Carmel Living Learning Center houses students in co-educational double rooms. The hall features suite-style rooms with a two-person room connected to a neighboring two-person room through a shared restroom and shower area. The hall has six different lounges, a kitchen, and two classrooms spread throughout the building. Most of the residents in the building are members of the Honors Program.

North Hall, 309 Beech Street

North Hall was recently renovated and houses mostly STEM students in double rooms, with co-educational rooms. The hall features salon-style restrooms (private sink, shower, and toilet). North Hall has a large gathering space with a kitchen, a multi-purpose room, and three study lounges for student use.

Berea Townhouses, 66-94 E. Bridge Street

The Berea Townhouses (renovated and opened in fall 2024) apartment complex houses returning 蘑菇TV下载students in one- and two-bedroom apartments. Apartments include renovated kitchens (new countertops, cabinets, flooring and appliances) and bathrooms (new showers, flooring, toilets, and cabinetry). All utilities are included. The apartment is furnished with a bed/mattress, a wardrobe, living room furniture, and a dining table/chairs.

The following rates are in place for the 2026-27 academic year. Rates are per person.

What is ERezlife?

is our housing software. It is the hub where students fill out housing applications, select rooms, create roommate groups, fill out programming forms, and more. Current students can visit and log in for details.

When will I find out where I am living?

Current students select housing assignments in March (apartments and specialty housing) or April (General Room Draw) and can log in to for details. Incoming students will select housing in mid-June. Those who apply after June 13 will be assigned on a rolling basis.

How do I select a roommate?

All students must create a "Roommate Group" in ERezlife (roommates must accept the roommate request). Example: If a coach pairs you up with a teammate, you will still need to request that student to be your roommate through a Roommate Group.

Can I see my room before moving in?

Due to summer conferences, rooms are not available for viewing or measuring prior to check in. Photos, videos, and floor plans of residence hall rooms are also available to current 蘑菇TV下载students at under resources.

What comes with my room?

All rooms have the following furniture:

• Extra-long twin bed per student
• Closet or movable wardrobe
• Dresser space
• Desk and chair per student (except Berea Townhouses)
• Wastebasket (uses tall kitchen bags) and recycle bin
• Horizontal blinds - wait until you move in and measure your windows before purchasing additional window treatments.

What should I bring?

Note: Residents of Davidson Commons (Davidson, Klein and Saylor halls), Carmel, Front Street Residence Hall, campus apartments or a room that has a private bathroom, MUST bring toilet, shower and sink cleaning supplies.

蘑菇TV下载partners with to rent MicroFridges to students. The eco-friendly unit has 2.9 cubic feet total storage capacity, including a full freezer and a 600 watt microwave. You can pre-order a Microfridge and have it delivered to your room before move-in day. MicroFridges may also be rented on move-in day, but quantities will be limited.

What am I not allowed to bring?

You should NOT bring the following:

• Candles and incense (even decorative)
• Coffee pots with hot plates
• Contact/wallpaper
• Dartboards with metal-tipped darts
• Flammables (gasoline, propane, etc.)
• Freezers
• George Foreman Grills and similar type of grills
• Halogen lights/lamps
• Hotplate, toaster, toaster ovens or other appliances with exposed heating elements
• Illegal drugs
• LED strip lights
• Pets, except for fish, in a 20-gallon or less aquarium
• Space heaters
• Street signs
• Weapons or ammunition of any kind (including martial arts weapons, air-soft style or paintball equipment)

Is my room air conditioned?

Air conditioning is provided in Berea Townhouses, Carmel, Ernsthausen, Findley, Front Street, North, and Davidson Commons (Davidson, Klein and Saylor).

Residential rooms in Constitution, Heritage and Lang do not have air conditioning. However, students are permitted to bring and set up one portable air conditioner per room. Students must coordinate with their roommate(s) to purchase or rent a unit (). These requirements must be followed:

• Only portable floor-style units are permitted.
• The unit must be 6,000 BTUs or less (no more than 12 amps)
• Microwaves or other appliances that draw a lot of power may not be in the same outlet.
• Students are responsible for installation. Students may NOT use the self-adhesive sticky foam insulation that comes with some units.
• The unit must be regularly maintained (filters cleaned and water drained properly if applicable) by the student.

蘑菇TV下载 will inspect rooms to ensure air conditioners are plugged into the correct outlet and outlets are not overloaded. 蘑菇TV下载is not responsible for repairs to portable air conditioners.

Are residence halls co-educational?

All halls are co-educational. Some are co-educational by floor (one gender per floor), and others are co-educational by room (one gender per room, but the floor may have rooms with the opposite gender). Floors that are co-educational by room have separate bathroom facilities for each gender. Gender-inclusive housing is available as an opt-in.

Can I loft my bed?

蘑菇TV下载partners with to provide a loft rental program. You can and it will be delivered/installed. Bedloft is the only loft endorsed and approved by 蘑菇TV下载. Students are not permitted to bring in personal lofts.

Note: The second and third floor suites in Davidson cannot accommodate lofted beds.

Are animals allowed?

Pets are not permitted in the residence halls with the exception of small fish (as noted in the student handbook).

Emotional Support Animals (ESAs) approved by residence life and housing are permitted in University housing. For the complete ESA rules, procedures and application forms, email reslife@bw.edu.

Service animals, as defined by the ADA, are permitted in University housing. Students are encouraged to voluntarily provide information about their service animal to residence life so that appropriate staff (e.g., hall staff, custodial, campus maintenance, etc.) can be made aware of the service animal's presence, ensure appropriate waste disposal options are available, and alert emergency personnel if necessary.

What can be done if I don't like my room assignment?

Students can request a room change by filling out a Room Change Request form via after the second week of classes each semester.

Can first-year students have cars on campus?

First-year residential students are permitted to have cars on campus. However, they may only park in the .

How often are rooms cleaned?

Students are responsible for cleaning their own rooms. Custodial staff (Aramark) are responsible for cleaning the public areas (hallways, lounges, etc.) and public restrooms. Students with bathroom facilities in their individual rooms or suites are responsible for cleaning their own bathrooms regularly with their own cleaning supplies (custodial staff will clean all suite restrooms over winter break).

Am I able to store my belongings at 蘑菇TV下载over the summer?

Students are unable to store items at 蘑菇TV下载over the summer; however, 蘑菇TV下载recommends as a preferred storage provider.

All transactions for summer storage are directly between the student and the vendor. 蘑菇TV下载Residence Life and Housing does not coordinate storage for individual student items, nor are we responsible for the individual business transactions made between the student and the vendor.

How do students submit a maintenance work order for their room?

Students can inform a residence life and housing staff member in their building or contact our office at (440) 826-2114 or reslife@bw.edu.

In case of an emergency that requires immediate attention after hours (flooding in a bathroom, a broken window, etc.), contact 蘑菇TV下载Safety & Security at (440) 826-2000.

How do I get mail?

The 蘑菇TV下载Mail Center receives student mail and packages and distributes it every weekday to students' secured mailboxes in their residence halls. Packages are kept in the mailroom in Bonds Hall for pick-up. Students are notified by email when a package is received.

How do I do laundry?

Each residence hall/apartment building is equipped with laundry rooms (machines provided and serviced by CSC Serviceworks). Laundry fees are included in the cost of living on campus, so the machines can be used at no cost throughout the school year.

How do I access my hall and room?

Students have 24/7 access to their assigned residence hall and can "swipe" in using their digital ID on a smartphone. Students are given keys to their assigned residence hall room (and mailbox).

A resident assistant (RA) is an undergraduate student staff member of Residence Life and Housing, and is an essential leader within the 蘑菇TV下载 community. Major job responsibilities include:

• Being a resource to residential students.
• Educational and active programming.
• Policy enforcement and duty rotation.
• Some administrative tasks.

An RA is expected to be a person who genuinely cares about others, inspires respect, establishes a good example in attitude and behavior, and communicates well with others.
